I have never before had any place to stick the winner badges that the Office of Letters and Light created for NaNoWriMo. But now I do!
Isn't it pretty? Isn't it amazing? The stats are not in yet (December First has not arrived as I write) but last year, the highest number of wins in NaNoWriMo history (not including the ultra-unknown, ultra-exclusive first few years) was just a little over 19%. Now I have won all three I have entered!
This is no time to do a typical writer's rant about how my novel stinks. It does not stink! It's done! Yeah, it's rough, but the rough draft is DONE, (although not wrapped up) and that's what really matters.
I love NaNoWriMo soooo much! I have even done an informative speech on it in freshman speech class.
I am off to romp all over the website basking in writerly bliss.
