I am only engaged, not married, but I learned sometime back that it is not selfish to let people do things for you. I don't practice it all the time, but sometimes letting other people do nice things for you because they love you, or even if they simply want to feel like they did the right thing, is not selfish.
So this post resonates with me now and maybe even more so when I am married shortly.
