Have I ever told you I love Sharon Creech? Her books are gentle (although characters often behave erratically, in a manner similar to my impulsiveness); she finds funny in small things, and is mesmerized by even smaller things.
What I love best is Sharon Creech the Author is no different than Sharon Creech the Person. Meaning, her blog reads like her books. There is no happy The Hobbit with a moody, impersonal, anti-social Tolkien in Real Life.
I could link to all her posts, but this one just made my head light up with joy. Speaking of which, I know someone who met Mr. Rogers at a wedding, and says Mr. Rogers was the same in Real Life as on TV.
