Fun language links

Yes, I am the grammar police, and you are under arrest for murdering the English language!
Or you can circumvent your criminal propensity and read these:
The controversial Oxford comma
and Why I won't Hire People Who Use Poor Grammar
and ignore the cranky commentors at the bottom who claim that he uses commas wrong, etc. Punctuation is not hard and fast; it often has a element of style to it--hence Elements of Style--and currently the trend is to underpunctuate, but there may be cases made for many punctuation decisions.
Hence, pretty much the Oxford comma dilemma.
Hence, people who get hung up on rules ought to read Grammar Snobs are Great Big Meanies, which points out that splitting infinitives, ending sentences in prepositions, and saying "were" when the subject is singular are all fine and good if you know what you're doing.
