I am not particularly fond of Walker Percy's books; I tried one a long time ago--The Movie Goer?--and didn't like it but this self-conducted interview makes me want to give him another shot.
His questions are unusual, his answers on-the-mark. His he a "Belloc Catholic"? Hillaire Belloc was once told that his his faith didn't seem to do him much good; his reply was along the lines of, "But think how much worse I'd be without it." That, folks, is the human condition.
