It's no secret I find Swiss Guards dreamy. 1. They're Catholics in good standing. (Not sure how closely they vet that.) They have to be at least 5' 8". That's how tall I am. They must be 19?-30. And unmarried. (Marriage = leave service. Family man and willing to die don't mix too well.) The chance to visit Rome? Wow.
Some new ones got sworn in this month. Happens every May.

A seminarian program started in our diocese gets national attention. I love my seminarians. (Yes, they are mine, for reasons that should be obvious to Catholics. However, I am willing to use the word "ours" if I am speaking to another Catholic.)
